Damage Policy Notice

Please note that booking this property on our website, you agree to the following Damage Policy:


  • You must keep the property and its content(s), including all furniture, electronic equipment , fixtures, fittings and effects in, on or at the Property in the same state of repair as at the start of the stay, and shall leave the Property in the same state of cleanliness and general order in which it was found when you arrived.


  • You are also responsible for the safekeeping of the Property and its contents, therefore you must remember, among others, to lock all doors and windows, and ensure the Property is safe upon your departure.


  • You will be responsible to reimburse the Property for all damage(s)m breakages or loss(es) caused to the Property by you and/or the rest of your guest(s).


  • Where any breakages, damage(s) or loss(es) occur, You should report it firsthand to the Property (as soon as reasonably practicable, but always before you checkout), and request the Property to initiate the claim.


  • Partners will be able to request a damage fee from you for any damage(s), breakage(s) and loss(es) made to the property and its contents (as defined above) up to 14 days after the end of your stay.


  • The Property will initiate a claim and communicate the claim to you.


  • Any type of claim of bodily injury or proprietary damage to your (and your guest(s)) personal belongings or others, any kind of criminal activities, secondary/consequential loss, third party liability, for which the Property could seek damage fees outside of this Damage Policy.

Terms & Conditions

TERMS & CONDITIONS OF BOOKINGS & STAYS AT ANTLER MOTEL, NANANGO


                        Check in: Check in time is 2:00pm, unless previous arrangements has been made


                        Check Out: Check out time is 10:00am, late check out may be available with prior arrangement


                        Office Hours: Monday to Sunday – 7:00am to 7:00 pm


                        Cancellation Fees: 48 hours notice is required, otherwise the first night’s accommodation fee will be charged.


                        Fees & Charges: All guests must sign a Guest Registration Form. Due to fire regulations, all guest must be accounted for in rooms.


                                        Any additional expenses that arise will become the responsibility of the guest signing the registration form and will be charged to the credit card on file.


                        Payments accepted: Mastercard, Visa & Cash
                                                              American Express (4.0% surcharge)


Additional fees chargeable to guests account that may arise & are the responsibility of the guest: Smoking incl use of eCigarettes or Vapes in rooms, any act performs by the guest of a degree to result in the room not being able to be let. Will result in a cleaning or fumigation fee being charged at the cost of rectification, plus the daily room tariff for the time that the room is unable to be let whilst being cleaned, fumigated or repaired.


                        Damage Policy: YOU are liable for any damage caused (whether by deliberant, negligence, or reckless act to the room, motel’s premises or property caused by you or any person in your party whether or not staying at the motel. Damage to rooms, fixtures, furnishing and equipment including the removal of electronic equipment , towels, etc. as well as damage to sheets from for example permanent marker, dyed haircolor, fruit colour and things that make unremovable stains, will be charge at 150% of full and new replacement value plus any shipping and handling charges. Any damage to hotel property, whether accidently or willful, is the responsibility of the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associate with repairs and/ or replacement will be charged to the registered guest for each particular room. Any costs associate with repairs and/or replacement will be charged to the registered guest. In extreme cases, criminal charges will be pursued. Antler Motel has the right to charge the credit/debit card/cash in such amounts as it shall in its sole discretion deem necessary to compensate or make good the cost or expense incurred or suffered by Antler Motel. Should this damage come to light after the guest has departed, we reserve the right to charge you accordingly.


                        Cooking: No cooking in room except for microwaves. A toaster which may be available and collected from the office


                        Pets: No pets allowed in rooms other than approved guide dogs & hearing assistance dogs.


                        Inkeepers Act (Act No. 24, 1968, Section 7): loss or damage to guest’ property. Under the inkeepers’ Act 1968, an innkeeper may in certain circumstances be liable to make good any loss or damage to guest’ property through it was due to any fault of the innkeeper or any servant in his employ.


                       The Liability however: Extends only to the property of guests’ who have engaged sleep accommodation at the inn, is limited to $100 to any one guest except in the case of property which has been deposited or offered for deposit, for safe custody. This does not cover any motor vehicle or other vehicles of any kind or any property left in them, or horses or other live animals.


                        Lost, Stolen or unreturned keys: We will attempt to contact you as a reminder to return the key, but bare in mind if this fails, a fee will be incurred & charged to the card on file or company for replacement of the lock and keys.


                          Extra Persons in room: Our quoted rates are for one person (depending on booking). We can not provide extra beds in the room. Additional people in rooms if extra beds are used, will incur a fee.


                          Visitors: Visitors are requested to park on the street, not in motel grounds and are requested to vacate motel premises by 8:00pm


                         Noise: For the comfort of all guests, no excessive noise especially between 8:00pm and 7:00am


We will always be very fair with our guests, but booking & costs communication is paramount. Any dispute over cost will be referred back to the terms & conditions.
